Our Builder Series housings are budget-friendly and designed for those who want to do their own work to save costs. They are suitable for street trucks or hot rods that don't require a rear truss or bash plate. The center section is built using high strength low carbon A50 steel plate, which is stronger than standard mild steel. The face plate is 3/8" thick and MIG welded to 3/16" sections with internal gussets for added strength. We machine the faceplate for a precision flat sealing surface and tap the holes for the 3rd member studs to ensure proper fit. The center section is made from 3.50" OD x .250w 4130 chromoly tubing, providing strength and compatibility with various hub combinations. All welding is done in fixtures to minimize distortion and ensure straightness. Our housings are customizable to your specifications with many options available. For lighter vehicles, hot rods, and pre-runners running 33-37" tires with lower horsepower engines, we recommend our 3.50" housings. They feature MIG welded construction, stronger A50 plate, CNC machined seal surface faceplate, internally gusseted center section, and 3/8" studs and hardware.
