Manufactured steel engine swap oil pan for installing a 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L GM LS Series engine into early GM passenger cars and trucks, as well as 1982-04 S10, S15 (2WD/4WD) trucks. The low profile pan moves the oil sump to the rear, like traditional SB Chevy oil pans have. The front of the pan in only 2" deep for excellent clearance above the chassis cross member. A gently sloping pan floor ensures that all the engine oil drains back to the pan sump, which measures only 6" deep. This keeps the pan's sump tucked up and behind the cross member, to avoid pan damage caused by speed bumps, driveways and flying road hazards. The pan comes equipped with a specially designed oil pickup tube that maintains a reliable, consistent flow of oil to your engine. Works with the factory pan o-ring seal. Two -10AN fittings have been integrated into the pan's reinforced mounting flange, to allow for easy hookup to a remotely mounted oil filter. The pan sump measures 8 1/4" wide by 6" long.
